March 24, 2024 - I've come back to this site almost 3 years later, and I think I will keep it up for historic/sentimental reasons. My website has been in continual development since I first made my neocities account in May 2021, and has seen many major design changes and 3 different hosts.

Not long after its creation, I migrated the website to github pages- I felt that help give it a more professional feeling, and make development easier.

Later that year, I purchased the owencompher.me domain, which has been the primary domain for my online presence since.

At some point, I began hosting the website on a cloud server through Vultr, still managing all site content through github.

In fall 2023, I taught myself server-side web development with Flask, and wrote a simple static site generator to build my website.
